Background

Christine Hamilton Consultancy is led by Christine Hamilton who has three decades experience in the arts.

In 2008 she set up the Institute for Creative Enterprise at Coventry University. ICE is a centre for start up creative businesses and postgraduate teaching and research. As Director, Christine led on the strategic direction and had a particular responsibility for developing applied research in the creative industries – particularly in digital media.  In 2000 she founded the Centre for Cultural Policy Research, University of Glasgow.  In both these roles she undertook a range of creative industries research and published regularly.  At the same time she set up Christine Hamilton Consulting.  Christine entered the university world from 25 years experience working in the arts, principally, but not exclusively in theatre. Christine Hamilton is experienced in policy analysis using qualitative methods including interviews and focus groups. She works with a range of associates who are experts in economic analysis, market research and financial planning. Across the business we have the skills to focus on research and consultancy in a diverse range of areas:
